NEAR Protocol (NEAR) rose from $4.47 to $4.79 in four hours as of 12:03 a.m. ET (04:03 UTC) Oct. 9, a 7.27% gain based on Binance spot NEAR/USDT prices collected by TokenPost.
The token was still down 10.09% over the previous 24 hours at the same time. NEAR ranked 21st by market capitalization, with an estimated value of about $6.13676 billion.
One-hour NEAR liquidations totaled $20,000 for long positions and $520,000 for short positions across Binance, Bybit and OKX.
The four-hour increase therefore came alongside a broader 24-hour decline, with short-position liquidations substantially exceeding long-position liquidations.
