Crypto ETF Outflows Deepen as XRP Funds Post $8.2 Million Inflows
Bitcoin ETFs lost $244.1 million on Oct. 8, while Ether and Zcash funds also recorded outflows during a broader leveraged-market selloff.

Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds recorded $244.1 million in net outflows on Oct. 8, while XRP funds attracted fresh money as a leveraged-market selloff pushed total crypto liquidations above $1.1 billion.
Ether (ETH) ETFs posted $72.5 million in net outflows during the session. The Zcash (ZEC) ETF lost $18.7 million, extending its October run of redemptions.
U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded approximately $8.2 million in net inflows. Bitcoin recovered to about $82,200 after falling to roughly $80,400 during Thursday trading.
Liquidations ranged from about $1.12 billion to $1.19 billion across 24-hour market snapshots. The figures represent the notional value of leveraged positions forcibly closed after traders failed to maintain required collateral, not an equivalent amount of money leaving the spot crypto market.
