Pyth Network Leads Crypto Gains With 13.44% Rise as 62 Fall
PYTH rose to $0.0850, while Bitcoin and Ether declined as losses outnumbered gains across the largest cryptocurrencies.

Pyth Network led gains across major cryptocurrencies early Oct. 9, rising 13.44% as declines outnumbered advances across the 90 largest assets, while Bitcoin and Ether traded lower.
PYTH rose to $0.0850 at 4:03 a.m. ET (08:03 UTC), ranking 100th by market capitalization. The move followed a gain of more than 12% on Oct. 8, when PYTH broke above $0.086. The token’s recent performance was also covered in an earlier TokenPost report on PYTH’s rise.
Cosmos Hub (ATOM) gained 11.57% to $1.97 and ranked 79th by market capitalization. Bitway (BTW), ranked 31st, climbed 9.59% to $1.50.
Aptos (APT) advanced 8.94% to $0.835, ranking 91st, while Polkadot (DOT) rose 8.23% to $1.19 and ranked 51st.
Losses were broader across the group. NEAR Protocol (NEAR) posted the largest decline, falling 9.64% to $4.86 and ranking 21st by market capitalization.
Venice Token (VVV) dropped 7.79% to $22.85. Pump.fun (PUMP) fell 6.46% to $0.00567, followed by Morpho (MORPHO), which declined 5.63% to $2.39. Render (RENDER) lost 5.48% to $1.92.
Excluding stablecoins, 28 of the 90 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization advanced over the 24-hour period, while 62 declined.
Bitcoin (BTC) stood at $82,557, down 0.44%. Ether (ETH) traded at $2,500, down 2.48%.
