Wallet Moves 2,000 Bitcoin Worth $166 Million to Bitfinex

The transfer occurred at 9:16 a.m. ET Friday. The wallet retained about 1,589 BTC after the transaction.

An unidentified wallet transferred 2,000 Bitcoin (BTC), valued at about $166 million, to Bitfinex at 9:16 a.m. ET Friday (13:16 UTC), marking a notable exchange inflow.

The wallet held about 3,589 BTC before the transaction and retained roughly 1,589 BTC afterward. The transfer accounted for more than half of the wallet’s holdings at the time.

The transaction moved a large amount of Bitcoin into an exchange address while leaving a substantial balance in the original wallet.
