Bitcoin spot ETFs shed $244.13 million as outflows extend to second day
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $244.13 million in net outflows on Oct. 8, extending withdrawals to a second trading day. Cumulative net inflows stood at $57.09 billion.

The U.S. spot bitcoin ETF market posted net outflows for a second consecutive trading day.
According to SoSoValue, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $244.13 million in daily net outflows on Oct. 8, 2026.
Outflows have continued for two trading days since Oct. 7. The latest outflow was about 50% smaller than the previous day's $487.07 million outflow. Cumulative net inflows stood at $57.09 billion.
Among the 12 ETFs, inflows were recorded in one fund: Franklin EZBC, with $4.71 million.
Funds left five products: Fidelity FBTC with $197.09 million, ARK 21Shares ARKB with $20.29 million, Bitwise BITB with $17.71 million, Grayscale GBTC with $8.20 million and BlackRock IBIT with $5.54 million. The $197.09 million outflow from Fidelity FBTC outweighed the $4.71 million inflow into Franklin EZBC.
Total spot bitcoin ETF trading volume was $3.18 billion. By product, BlackRock IBIT led with $2.60 billion, followed by Fidelity FBTC at $248.09 million and Grayscale GBTC at $95.57 million.
Total net assets stood at $104.91 billion, equal to about 6.38% of bitcoin's total market capitalization. The largest ETFs by net assets were BlackRock IBIT at $65.68 billion, Fidelity FBTC at $14.55 billion and Grayscale GBTC at $10.29 billion.
