Bitcoin (BTC) held for at least six months has barely moved to cryptocurrency exchanges during its decline from $87,000, showing limited exchange activity among long-term holders.

Nearly all recent exchange inflows involved Bitcoin transferred within the previous week, while coins held for six months or longer were deposited to exchanges only rarely.

Bitcoin typically moves to exchanges before being sold. Broad market capitulation generally involves long-term holders transferring and selling their holdings, but that pattern has not emerged during the decline.
