The USDC Treasury minted $139.5 million in USD Coin (USDC) on Oct. 9, increasing the stablecoin’s total supply as a series of large issuances continues in recent weeks.

USDC is issued by Circle and supports digital transactions and decentralized finance applications. The USDC Treasury handles the token’s minting and redemption process.

The latest issuance is smaller than several recent 250 million USDC mints on Solana. The same amount was created on Solana on Oct. 6 and Oct. 2, while two transactions on Sept. 25 each produced 250 million USDC.

TokenPost previously covered the Oct. 6 USDC mint on Solana. The Oct. 9 mint is part of a recent series of large USDC issuances.
