Ether ETFs Extend Outflows To Eight Days As FBTC Loses $197 Million
U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded $72.5 million in net outflows on Oct. 8, while spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $244.1 million.

U.S. spot Ether (ETH) ETFs extended their losing streak to eight trading days on Oct. 8, recording $72.5 million in net outflows as spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs also posted net outflows.
The Ether outflow streak, which began Sept. 29, has reached about $641.3 million. BlackRock’s ETHA posted the largest daily withdrawal at $71.1 million, while Fidelity’s FETH recorded a $5.5 million inflow that partly offset losses elsewhere.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $244.1 million on Oct. 8. Fidelity’s FBTC accounted for $197.1 million of that total, or about 81%, bringing combined Bitcoin ETF outflows for Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 to $731.2 million.
ETF net outflows indicate that redemptions exceeded new creations during the U.S. trading sessions. The latest figures marked a second consecutive day of losses for both Ether and Bitcoin ETF groups.
