BofA Securities downgraded Alignment Healthcare to Neutral from Buy after the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services lowered the Star Rating for one of the company’s major California Medicare Advantage contracts.
The contract’s rating fell to 3.5 stars from 4 stars. BofA also reduced its price target for Alignment Healthcare to $9 from $25.
