Filecoin Leads Crypto Gainers as 53 of Top 90 Assets Advance

Filecoin rose 11.10% to $1.20 over 24 hours ending at 12:03 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, while Bitcoin edged higher and Ether slipped.

Filecoin (FIL) led gains among the 90 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, rising 11.10% to $1.20 over the 24 hours ending at 12:03 a.m. ET (04:03 UTC) on Oct. 10. Stablecoins were excluded from the comparison.

Polkadot (DOT) ranked second among gainers, advancing 10.25% to $1.27. Bitway (BTW) rose 9.94% to $1.58, while Aptos (APT) gained 7.86% to $0.829 and Cosmos Hub (ATOM) increased 7.55% to $1.99.

Filecoin ranked 80th by market capitalization. Polkadot ranked 51st, Bitway 30th, Aptos 94th and Cosmos Hub 76th.

LayerZero (ZRO) posted the largest decline, falling 5.33% to $1.96. Lighter (LIT) dropped 4.55% to $3.55, and Aerodrome Finance (AERO) declined 4.53% to $0.808.

Monero (XMR) fell 4.46% to $516.13, while Algorand (ALGO) lost 4.33% to $0.114. LayerZero ranked 90th by market capitalization, followed by Lighter at 84th, Aerodrome Finance at 86th, Monero at 15th and Algorand at 79th.

Advancers outnumbered decliners, with 53 cryptocurrencies rising and 37 falling during the period.

Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $82,541, up 0.16%. Ether (ETH) stood at $2,490, down 0.07%.
