NFT trading volume edged higher during the week through Oct. 10, with Ethereum leading blockchain activity and Pudgy Penguins posting one of the largest gains among the top collections.

Total sales reached $39,853,744, up from the previous seven-day period. Transactions fell 6.92% to 778,055. Buyer addresses declined 85.33% to 30,332, while seller addresses fell 84.45% to 30,598.

Ethereum led blockchain sales with $17.60 million, up 4.52% and representing about 44.2% of the global total. Polygon ranked second with $8.62 million, up 5.76%. Bitcoin ranked third with $3.55 million after sales declined 7.33%.

Courtyard led the collection rankings with $7.68 million in sales, up 6.56%. CryptoPunks ranked second at $2.45 million, up 24.45%.

Pudgy Penguins placed third with $1,496,813 in sales, a 125.66% increase from the prior period. Transactions rose 151.28% to 196, while buyer addresses increased 54.10% to 94.

The increase in dollar sales alongside falling buyer and seller counts suggests that weekly volume was concentrated among fewer participants rather than reflecting broad-based growth in market activity.

Pudgy Penguins is an Ethereum-based collection of 8,888 NFTs spanning community development, intellectual-property licensing and physical merchandise, including a 12-product essentials line launched in September.
