Aave (AAVE) rose 4.51% to $174.38 on Oct. 10, staying above five of six tracked moving averages while a zero MACD histogram left near-term momentum unresolved.

AAVE traded between $164.57 and $176.11. The token remained above its 20-day simple moving average at $163.77, 50-day average at $142.84, 200-day average at $102.92, 12-day exponential moving average at $169.73 and 26-day exponential moving average at $159.09.

The seven-day simple moving average was $174.99, slightly above the market price. Immediate support stood at $167.26, followed by strong support at $160.15. Immediate resistance was $178.80, with stronger resistance at $183.23.

The 14-period daily relative strength index was 61.37. Stochastic %K stood at 69.69 versus %D at 55.75, while Bollinger %B was 0.6947. The upper, middle and lower Bollinger bands were $191.01, $163.77 and $136.54, respectively.

The MACD line and signal line both stood at 10.6460, producing a histogram reading of 0.0000. The equal readings show that the two lines had converged but do not confirm that a crossover occurred.

“Whether the next daily close produces a positive or negative histogram bar will indicate whether the bullish impulse that carried AAVE above its longer-dated averages is resuming or beginning to deteriorate,” Rongchai Wang said.

Derivatives activity offered a mixed market picture. Binance futures open interest was about 391,820 contracts, valued at $63.9 million in notional terms, down 1.16% over 24 hours. The eight-hour funding rate was 0.0022%.
