U.S. Spot Ethereum ETFs Lose $542 Million as ETH Falls Below $2,500

The five-session outflow included $477.1 million from BlackRock’s ETHA, while redemptions extended to nine consecutive trading days.

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $542.2 million in net outflows during the five trading sessions ended Oct. 9, as Ether (ETH) closed below $2,500 and withdrawals reached a ninth consecutive day.

The outflows totaled $50.8 million on Oct. 5, $201.9 million on Oct. 6, $160.9 million on Oct. 7, $72.5 million on Oct. 8 and $56.1 million on Oct. 9.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, identified by the ticker ETHA, accounted for $477.1 million of the weekly withdrawals. ETHA recorded outflows on each of the five sessions, including $201.9 million on Oct. 6.

Ether closed at $2,487.81 on Oct. 9, placing it below the $2,500 level. The latest ETF outflow extended a nine-session run of net redemptions from U.S. spot Ethereum products.

ETF balances reflect fund-level inflows and outflows, not proof that each investor directly sold Ether.
