MSFTUSDT, Binance’s USDⓈ-margined perpetual contract linked to Microsoft common stock, rose 1.35% over 24 hours to $535.45 at 5 a.m. ET (09:00 UTC) Oct. 10, 2026, placing its price close to the upper Bollinger Band.

The contract traded between $527.10 and $537.75 during the period, while the upper band stood at $538.89. Its technical picture was mixed: the MACD histogram was flat at 0.0000, stochastic %K reached 93.38 and %D was 74.71, and the 14-period relative strength index was 69.09.

Open interest fell 15.53% to 41,298.65 contracts, representing approximately $18.81 million in notional value. The decline does not establish whether the price increase reflected new long positions or traders closing short positions.

Binance global accounts were 38.4% long and 61.6% short. Among top-trader accounts, 38.5% were long and 61.5% were short. Funding was 0.0000%, while the taker buy/sell ratio was 0.9264, based on buy volume of 206 and sell volume of 222.

Immediate resistance was $539.77, with stronger resistance at $544.08. Immediate support was $529.12, with stronger support at $522.78. The pivot level was $533.43.

The derivatives move came as price targets for Microsoft common stock moved higher. Melius Research analyst Ben Reitzes upgraded Microsoft from Hold to Buy and set a $665 target on Oct. 5. Scotiabank raised its target from $510 to $615 while maintaining a Sector Outperform rating.

The targets apply to Microsoft common stock, not the Binance contract. MSFTUSDT is a separate derivatives instrument, so its price, open interest, funding and positioning figures reflect Binance Futures activity rather than direct ownership of Microsoft shares.

The contract launched April 20, 2026, with leverage of up to 10x. No time horizon was specified for either stock target.
