Evercore ISI upgraded Procter & Gamble, while Goldman Sachs raised Palantir to Buy and set a $230 12-month price target in a week of notable U.S. stock analyst calls.

The Procter & Gamble upgrade reflected improved U.S. execution, stabilizing category volumes, organizational changes and higher estimates for organic sales growth.

Goldman Sachs raised Palantir’s rating from Neutral to Buy despite the company’s recent stock underperformance. The rationale included potential for further artificial-intelligence-driven growth and industry discussions pointing to another phase of outperformance into 2027.

Palantir shares rose 2.5% in premarket trading Thursday, Oct. 8, after the rating change. The move followed Goldman Sachs’ upgrade of Palantir to Buy, which also included the $230 target.

The calls came as the S&P 500 closed higher Friday, Oct. 9. The Nasdaq rose 0.64%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.8%.
