U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs Return to Inflows After $729.0 Million Exit
The funds drew $21.13 million on Oct. 9, while U.S. spot Ether ETFs posted a ninth consecutive session of outflows.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs returned to positive territory with $21.13 million in net inflows Oct. 9, offering limited stabilization after two sessions of withdrawals totaling $729.0 million.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, or IBIT, led the inflows with $22.38 million. VanEck’s HODL added $2.33 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC recorded a $3.58 million outflow.
The rebound followed withdrawals of $484.9 million on Oct. 7 and $244.1 million on Oct. 8. The latest inflow therefore marked a modest improvement rather than a return to strong institutional demand.
Bitcoin (BTC) was quoted at $82,951, down 0.03%, at 10:45 a.m. ET (14:45 UTC) on Oct. 10. Bitcoin ETF trading volume reached $1.44 billion during the Oct. 9 session.
U.S. spot Ether (ETH) ETFs recorded a $56.10 million net outflow Oct. 9, extending their losing streak to nine trading sessions. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for the reported outflow. Ether ETF trading volume was $595.24 million, with total net assets of $15.71 billion.
The recent Bitcoin advance relied more on existing holders than on fresh capital. Flows from U.S. spot ETFs, stablecoin growth and corporate treasury buying brought about $4.9 billion into the market during the 30 days through Oct. 5, while realized capitalization rose by about $12.8 billion.
Combined spot-exchange and U.S. spot-ETF volume averaged about $6.8 billion per day over seven days through the measurement period.
