Hedge funds’ net U.S. exposure to the Magnificent Seven reached a record 22%.

The measure has risen 7 percentage points since July 2026, its largest three-month increase since 2023. It also exceeded the previous high of 21% set in June 2024.

The indicator fell to 8% during the 2022 bear-market low.

Hedge funds’ net U.S. exposure to semiconductor stocks also increased to 12%. That remains below the 14% peak recorded in June 2026 but is well above the 2% level seen in early 2025.

The latest figures show that demand for technology stocks remains strong, with exposure to the Magnificent Seven and semiconductor stocks both well above levels recorded during the 2022 downturn and early 2025.
