BlackRock’s Ether ETF Records $477.1 Million in Weekly Outflows
U.S. spot Ether ETFs posted $542.2 million in combined net outflows across five trading sessions, extending a nine-session losing streak.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) recorded $477.1 million in net outflows from Oct. 5-9 ET (Oct. 6-10 UTC), accounting for most of the $542.2 million withdrawn from U.S. spot Ether ETFs during the five-session period.
The withdrawals extended the sector’s losing streak to nine consecutive trading sessions through Oct. 9 ET (Oct. 10 UTC). The streak began Sept. 29.
ETHA recorded daily outflows of $31.9 million on Oct. 5, $201.9 million on Oct. 6, $116.1 million on Oct. 7, $71.1 million on Oct. 8 and $56.1 million on Oct. 9.
BlackRock’s iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) recorded no net flow during the five-session period.
ETF net-flow figures measure the balance of fund creations and redemptions. They do not by themselves show that BlackRock sold $477.1 million of Ether directly in the open market.
ETHA is a spot Ether exchange-traded product designed to track Ethereum’s native token through a traditional brokerage account. The fund trades on Nasdaq and charges a 0.25% sponsor fee.
Despite the recent withdrawals, cumulative net inflows for U.S. spot Ether ETFs remained positive at approximately $13.3 billion through Oct. 9.
