100 Nvidia Shares Could Produce $25 if Dividend Rate Holds
Nvidia’s current quarterly dividend is $0.25 per share, but the next payment and an estimated Dec. 25 date have not been declared.

Nvidia’s current quarterly dividend rate would yield $25 before taxes on 100 shares if the company keeps the rate unchanged for its next payment, which has not yet been declared.
Nvidia (NVDA) raised its cash dividend from $0.01 to $0.25 per share on May 18, 2026. Its latest confirmed payment was scheduled for Oct. 1, 2026, for shareholders of record on Sept. 10.
At the current rate, 100 shares would generate $25 from one quarterly payment. If the rate remains unchanged across four payments, the same holdings would produce $100 annually before taxes.
An estimated Dec. 25, 2026, payment date is not confirmed by Nvidia. The company has not officially declared its next dividend, and its latest Form 10-Q says future cash dividends remain subject to the board’s continuing determination that declaring them is in shareholders’ best interests.
The “Q4 2026” label does not align with Nvidia’s official fiscal-year terminology. Nvidia’s latest reported period was fiscal second-quarter 2027, which ended July 26, 2026.
For that quarter, Nvidia reported $96.221 billion in revenue, $59.688 billion in GAAP net income and $2.46 in diluted GAAP earnings per share. Management forecast fiscal third-quarter revenue of $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%.
Nvidia returned approximately $26.0 billion to shareholders during fiscal second-quarter 2027 through share repurchases and cash dividends. The amount returned through repurchases and dividends was substantially larger than the potential annual dividend from 100 shares at the current rate.
“AI has reached its inflection point. It’s doing useful work. Its tokens are productive and profitable,” Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said.
The next dividend amount and payment date will depend on a future board decision.
