Crypto Liquidations Top $41.27 Million in One Hour, With Shorts at 98%

Crypto liquidations reached $41.27 million in the hour ending at 11:58 a.m. ET on Oct. 11, with short positions accounting for $40.42 million, or about 98% of the total, across 4,744 trades.
The figures come from TokenPost’s direct aggregation of publicly disclosed liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX. Long liquidations totaled $850,000 during the same period.
Binance recorded the largest share at $22.63 million, followed by OKX with $12.28 million and Bybit with $6.36 million.
Bitcoin (BTC) led the asset breakdown with $14.34 million in liquidations. Ether (ETH) followed at $12.28 million, while NEAR recorded $4.93 million. The tally covers the three exchanges and does not represent total liquidations across the entire cryptocurrency market.
