Cross-Chain Projects Advance Token, Security and Migration Plans

Cross-chain projects are advancing tokenomics, security, integration and migration initiatives, highlighting continued development across the interoperability sector on Oct. 12.

Wormhole is advancing its W 2.0 tokenomics, including a reserve, staking returns and unlocks every two weeks. The project also completed a multichain deployment of Hyperliquid’s HYPE and integrations involving Ripple’s RLUSD.

LayerZero’s total value locked has increased, and the project launched Bridge Sentinel, a security system developed with Blockaid. LayerZero also completed the merger of Stargate’s STG token into the ZRO ecosystem and continued buybacks.

Axelar is expanding its multichain connections and participating in XRP ecosystem activity as a bridge to the XRPL EVM sidechain.

Stargate is completing its migration into the LayerZero ecosystem, with multiple trading platforms supporting STG-to-ZRO conversions.
