Hyperliquid Records Million-Dollar U.S. Equity Positioning Before CPI
Positions of at least $1 million appeared across U.S. equity-linked contracts from Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. ET through Oct. 12 at midnight ET before the Sept. CPI release.

Hyperliquid recorded multiple million-dollar openings, closures and long-short reversals in U.S. equity-linked contracts before the release of September U.S. consumer price data, putting large-trader positioning in focus ahead of a key inflation report.
The activity covered positions valued at $1 million or more from Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC) through Oct. 12 at midnight ET (04:00 UTC). The review included both new positions and exits, as well as changes between bullish and bearish exposure.
The September Consumer Price Index report is scheduled for Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC). The release may affect expectations for the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate path and valuations for technology stocks.
The next market milestone is the CPI release on Oct. 14.
