Cardano’s ADA Holds Near $0.25 as Recovery Case Stays Conditional
ADA is above its 50-day, 100-day and 200-day exponential moving averages, while spot-market and futures indicators remain cautious.

Cardano (ADA) traded near $0.25 on Oct. 12 after a 2.85% weekly decline, with technical analysis pointing to a conditional recovery setup and caution in spot and futures markets.
ADA traded above its 200-day exponential moving average at $0.241, while the 50-day and 100-day averages stood at $0.230 and $0.219, respectively. Support was identified near $0.245, $0.236, $0.206 and $0.150, with resistance near $0.299.
ADA’s Relative Strength Index was around 54, while its Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator remained marginally below zero. The mixed readings suggest that momentum was not clearly established in either direction.
Derivatives positioning leaned slightly long, with a long-to-short ratio of 1.01. ADA’s funding rate turned positive Sunday and reached 0.0061% Monday, a reading generally associated with long-position holders paying short-position holders in perpetual futures markets.
Spot and futures indicators showed overheating, sell-side dominance and large futures-market whale orders. Those findings added caution to the technical setup.
Oct. 12 readings ranged from $0.2511 to $0.2551 across different price pages, reflecting different observations and measurement methods. The technical outlook remains conditional on ADA holding support near $0.245 and the 200-day EMA at $0.241.
The setup continues an earlier technical analysis of ADA near $0.25 and resistance around $0.26, though the latest analysis uses different support, resistance and moving-average levels.
