Dogecoin Rebound Stays Fragile as Whale Groups Add 130 Million DOGE
DOGE recovered above $0.087 after a 9.5% weekly decline, while mixed wallet flows and bearish technical signals kept the move tentative.

Dogecoin (DOGE) recovered above $0.087 Monday after losing 9.5% the previous week, but conflicting whale flows and weak momentum indicators kept the recovery fragile.
Wallets holding between 100,000 and 1 million DOGE and between 10 million and 100 million DOGE accumulated a combined 130 million tokens since Thursday. Wallets holding between 1 million and 10 million DOGE sold 70 million DOGE over the same period, leaving activity mixed across holder groups.
Derivatives positioning also pointed in different directions. DOGE’s long-to-short ratio was 0.93, indicating that short positions outnumbered long positions. The open-interest-weighted funding rate was positive at 0.0066%, meaning long positions were paying short positions.
DOGE traded near its 50-day exponential moving average at approximately $0.087 and remained above its 100-day EMA near $0.086. It was still below the 200-day EMA near $0.093.
Immediate resistance stood near $0.088, followed by levels around $0.093 and $0.102. Support was identified near $0.086 and $0.070.
Momentum remained subdued, with the relative strength index around 45 and the moving average convergence divergence line below zero. Those readings reflected continued pressure after DOGE’s rejection near $0.100.
The latest wallet activity followed an earlier period in which holders of 10 million to 100 million DOGE added roughly 1.14 billion tokens over 96 hours near the $0.098 resistance area, as detailed in earlier Dogecoin wallet-balance coverage.
