European stocks moved higher early Monday as softer oil prices and lower bond yields helped offset geopolitical concerns across markets.

The FTSE 100 rose 0.44% at 3:51 a.m. ET (07:51 UTC), while Germany’s DAX gained 0.48% and France’s CAC 40 advanced 0.50%. The pan-European Stoxx 600 edged 0.47% higher.

The moves came as easing energy prices and bond yields offered support to equities despite continued geopolitical risks. Investors were also assessing fresh economic data from across the region.

September inflation in Denmark increased to an annual rate of 2.2%. The Dutch trade balance recorded an €8.3 billion surplus for August, an increase from the prior level.
