Crypto liquidations totaled $35.64 million in the hour ending at 8:39 a.m. ET (12:39 p.m. UTC) on Oct. 12, with long positions accounting for $34.55 million, or 97% of the total, across Binance, Bybit and OKX.
The liquidation activity covered 4,230 trades. Short liquidations totaled $1.09 million during the same period.
Binance recorded $22.40 million in liquidations, followed by OKX with $9.82 million and Bybit with $3.43 million.
By asset, Ether (ETH) ranked first with $12.96 million in liquidations. Bitcoin (BTC) followed with $12.04 million, while Solana (SOL) recorded $2.70 million. The figures cover the three exchanges and do not represent the entire cryptocurrency market.
