The trader said the pattern resembles Bitcoin’s 2023 recovery from a macro market bottom, while cautioning against relying too heavily on short-term sentiment gauges.

Bitcoin (BTC) short-term holder supply has recently reached an “overheated” level that may signal a market bottom is forming, trader Killa said.

Killa said the pattern resembles Bitcoin’s 2023 recovery after the market moved away from a macro bottom. Bitcoin continued rising after short-term holder supply reached a similar level during that period, while the higher-time-frame trend remained upward.

He cautioned against relying too heavily on fear-and-greed indicators to determine market direction. Market sentiment can remain irrational for extended periods, and short-term measures may not reflect the longer-term trend.
