Binance’s AMDUSDT Contract Tracks AMD Shares With Up to 10x Leverage
The USDT-settled perpetual contract launched May 6 and trades 24/7, but it is separate from Advanced Micro Devices common stock.

Binance’s AMDUSDT perpetual contract tracks Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) common stock while giving traders a separate USDT-settled instrument with up to 10x leverage.
The contract launched May 6 at 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). It trades 24/7 and settles in USDT, a dollar-pegged cryptocurrency used widely in digital-asset markets.
AMDUSDT is not the same asset as AMD shares. Stock-price targets issued for AMD therefore do not directly forecast the price of the Binance contract, even though the derivative is designed to track the company’s common stock.
The distinction matters because the two instruments have different trading structures. AMD shares trade on the U.S. stock market during scheduled market hours, while the perpetual contract remains available around the clock and allows leveraged exposure.
The contract’s underlying reference is the equity of U.S. semiconductor company Advanced Micro Devices, whose shares have drawn attention over expected artificial-intelligence demand. Its market behavior can still differ from the stock because of leverage, funding mechanics and derivatives positioning.
