Bitcoin (BTC) long-term holders’ spent output profit ratio, or SOPR, has moved back above its 1.10 annual average and remained there, indicating that the group has returned to realizing profits.

The reading means long-term holders have realized an average profit of about 10% over the past year. Their weekly SOPR average is 1.25, while the monthly average is 1.16, with both measures above the annual benchmark.

The current pattern resembles conditions near the end of the previous bear market, when Bitcoin long-term holders also began realizing profits again. Moderate profitability among the group signals improved market conditions and may support more positive expectations for Bitcoin’s outlook.
