Cardano (ADA) traded below $0.25 on Oct. 12 as daily momentum indicators weakened and analysts identified a $0.224-$0.240 support zone, with conditional levels near $0.2105 and $0.1939.

ADA fell 3.53% and traded between $0.2411 and $0.2561. Its daily moving average convergence divergence, or MACD, stood at 0.0060, below the 0.0084 signal line, producing a histogram reading of about -0.0024.

The daily average directional index was 25.76. ADX measures trend strength rather than whether prices are moving up or down.

Jesse Olson described the daily setup as bearish, pointing to bearish divergence and the possibility of a lower high. “Two of four retracement targets have been hit so far,” Olson said.

The main technical support zone runs from $0.224 to $0.240, with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement near $0.2271. If ADA falls below that range, levels near $0.2105 and approximately $0.1939 come into view. The latter aligns with the 0.618 Fibonacci level.

A daily close below $0.19 would materially weaken the recovery setup. The recovery scenario requires a confirmed daily breakout above $0.281 followed by a successful retest. Additional upside levels in the analysis are $0.3147, $0.3880 and $0.4844.

On the weekly chart, ADA was near $0.2435, below an upper Bollinger Band at $0.2688 but above the 20-week moving-average midpoint at $0.1988.

A three-day liquidation heatmap placed estimated overhead liquidation concentrations around $0.258-$0.262, with additional bands near $0.265-$0.269. These are projected liquidation exposures, not records of completed liquidations.

The setup follows earlier coverage of ADA’s $0.2238-$0.2276 support zone.
