USDC Treasury minted 250 million USDC on the Solana network.

The issuance was recorded at 5:49 p.m. ET on Oct. 12 (21:49 UTC), corresponding to 5:49 a.m. Beijing time on Oct. 13. USDC is a dollar-linked cryptocurrency designed to maintain a value of $1.

The newly minted tokens increase the amount of USDC on Solana. The event does not by itself establish how the tokens will be used or whether they have entered circulation through trading venues.

USDC Treasury’s Solana mint is the latest supply change for market participants to monitor.
