BLUR Falls More Than 27% After Blur Plans Frontend Shutdown
The website interface is scheduled to close Nov. 12, 2026, while Blur’s on-chain trading protocol will continue operating.

BLUR fell more than 27% in 24 hours to $0.0139 after Blur announced plans to discontinue its website frontend, adding pressure to the token ahead of the scheduled shutdown.
The change is set for Nov. 12, 2026, and applies only to Blur’s website interface. Its on-chain trading market protocol will continue operating after the frontend is disabled.
Blur will also retain control of its fee switch, while Blend, its lending platform, will stop matching new loans on the same date.
The move separates access through Blur’s website from the continued operation of its blockchain-based trading infrastructure. BLUR’s 24-hour decline reflects the market reaction to the frontend shutdown announcement.
