Machi Big Brother’s leveraged Ether (ETH) position was about $36 above its liquidation price Monday evening as its unrealized loss exceeded $415,000.

The 3,500-ETH long used 25x leverage and had an average entry price of $2,545.84. Ether was trading at approximately $2,428.51 at 8:46 p.m. ET Monday (00:46 UTC Tuesday), leaving the position with an estimated unrealized loss of $415,600.

The reported liquidation price was $2,392.90. That put the market price about $35.61 above the level at which the position would be liquidated, rounded to roughly $36.

The trade’s narrow margin to liquidation highlights the risk of highly leveraged Ether positions during sharp price moves.
