Zcash (ZEC) fell 8.40% in four hours to $1,135 at 8:49 p.m. ET Monday (00:49 UTC Tuesday), extending its 24-hour decline to 11.56%. The price was measured on Binance’s spot ZEC/USDT market using TokenPost’s direct exchange-data collection.

ZEC had traded at $1,239 four hours earlier, before falling to the latest reading. The move came with $2.66 million in long liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour, compared with $40,000 in short liquidations.

The liquidation imbalance indicates that positions betting on higher prices accounted for most of the forced closures during that one-hour period. No confirmed cause was identified for the decline.
