The Ether-to-Bitcoin ratio fell below 0.03 on Monday evening ET, marking its first move under that level since Aug. 19 and reflecting continued Ether underperformance against Bitcoin.

The ratio reached a low of 0.02970 before recovering slightly to 0.02992 at 10:12 p.m. ET (02:12 UTC Tuesday). The reading compares the value of Ether with Bitcoin, making it a gauge of Ether’s relative performance against the largest cryptocurrency.

A lower ETH/BTC ratio means Ether has weakened relative to Bitcoin over the measured period. The latest move places the ratio below the 0.03 threshold after it had remained above that level since Aug. 19.
