Solana regained the lead in tokenized-equities spot decentralized-exchange volume after 13 weeks, supported by a sharp increase in second-quarter activity.

The network processed $4.8 billion in tokenized-equities DEX volume during the second quarter of 2026, compared with $1.1 billion in the first quarter. Solana accounted for roughly 97% of cross-chain volume during the period.

The figures place Solana at the center of trading activity for blockchain-based instruments tied to traditional equities. Tokenized equities are traded through decentralized exchanges, where transactions take place through blockchain-based protocols rather than traditional brokerage systems.

The second-quarter result provides historical context for an Oct. 10 snapshot showing Solana with 65% of tokenized-equities trading volume. Its volume was 85% greater than the combined volume handled by other blockchain networks in that one-day measurement.

The snapshot and quarterly figures measure different periods. The Oct. 10 result reflects activity on a single day, while the second-quarter data covers three months. The two measurements show Solana’s strong presence in the market but do not establish whether its share will remain at either level.
