The XRP Ledger’s payment volume rose 153.9% over 24 hours to 363.3 million XRP on Oct. 13, but the reading remained well below its reported 30-day average, limiting its significance as a recovery signal.

The 30-day average stood at 680.4 million XRP, nearly twice the latest daily figure. The ledger’s reported all-time high for payment volume was approximately 7 billion XRP.

Payment volume measures transfers between accounts on the XRP Ledger. It is separate from exchange trading volume and does not by itself show how much XRP investors are buying or selling on markets.

The daily increase may partly reflect a comparison with a particularly weak previous day. The latest reading alone does not establish a sustained rebound in network activity or a direct effect on XRP’s price.
