Coinbase Shares Rise 0.56% Ahead of Wednesday’s September CPI Release
Class A shares closed at $180.39 Monday after trading between $176.80 and $184.23. The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release September inflation data Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Coinbase Class A shares rose 0.56% Monday to $180.39 as investors prepared for the U.S. inflation report scheduled for Wednesday, a release that may shape expectations for Federal Reserve policy and risk appetite across markets.
The stock traded between $176.80 and $184.23 during the Oct. 12 session.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is scheduled to publish September consumer-price data Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC).
The release follows August data showing headline consumer prices rose 3.4% from a year earlier and 0.4% from the prior month on a seasonally adjusted basis. Core prices, which exclude food and energy, increased 2.4% year over year and 0.3% month over month.
The inflation report comes as markets assess the outlook for Federal Reserve policy and demand for risk assets. U.S. Treasury positioning remains heavily short ahead of the CPI release, adding to the focus on Wednesday’s figures.
The BLS release is the next scheduled event for markets tracking U.S. inflation and its potential effect on policy expectations.
