Emera declared a quarterly dividend of CAD 0.3966 per share on its 4.25% REST PFD J shares, with payment scheduled for Nov. 13.

Shareholders must be on record by Oct. 30 to receive the dividend. The ex-dividend date is also Oct. 30.

The shares trade under the ticker EMA.PR.J:CA on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The announcement sets the next scheduled distribution for holders of the preferred shares on Nov. 13.
