Sonic (S) traded near $0.05472 on Oct. 13 after reaching $0.07379 earlier in the session, placing the token about 26% below its high and renewing attention on the $0.05 support area.

S was down 3.05% from its previous daily close. The token remained above its main price averages, but the latest two daily candles retreated from their highs as trading activity increased.

The accumulation/distribution line also declined sharply after improving during the recovery. The volume-based indicator added pressure to a rebound that has struggled to hold higher prices.

The nearest downside range is $0.0523 to $0.0500. A sustained break below $0.05 would put the $0.0445-to-$0.0463 area in focus, while a move through $0.0600 to $0.0610 would improve the short-term chart. Larger resistance levels remain between $0.069 and $0.074.

Sonic’s first two airdrop seasons have an Oct. 15 final claim deadline. Unclaimed tokens will be burned after the deadline, and anyone can trigger the process. Sonic previously said about 32.69 million S remained to be claimed, though that amount may have declined as more claims were submitted.

Sonic also commissioned an independent supply audit and said manual minting would stop. Automated issuance for validator rewards will continue.
