Bitcoin Falls Below $83,000 as U.S. Futures Turn Lower After CPI
Nasdaq futures fell 0.5%, while spot gold and silver dropped nearly 1% and 2%, respectively.

Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $83,000 after September consumer price data was released, as U.S. stock futures and precious metals also moved lower on Oct. 14.
Futures tied to the three major U.S. stock indexes turned down after the release. Nasdaq futures were down 0.5%. The available figures did not specify moves for the other two indexes.
Spot gold fell nearly 1%, while spot silver dropped nearly 2%. The declines put crypto, equity futures and precious metals under pressure in the same post-data market move.
