Injective Counts 135 Active Real-World Asset Perpetual Markets
The Sept. 1 snapshot included 111 equity-linked markets and more than $5.3 billion in cumulative trading volume since early 2025.

Injective had 135 active perpetual markets tied to real-world assets as of Sept. 1, giving traders price exposure to traditional assets without establishing ownership of them. The snapshot included 111 equity-linked markets, but did not provide a count of all Injective markets for comparison.
The remaining markets included 11 foreign-exchange contracts, nine commodity contracts, two index contracts and two pre-IPO contracts. All were quoted against native USDC.
Cumulative trading volume across the markets exceeded $5.3 billion since early 2025. Volume totaled $845.9 million year to date through Sept. 1, rising from $186.5 million in July to $209.7 million in August.
Perpetual contracts track an asset’s price and do not have an expiration date. These markets provide trading exposure to referenced assets; they do not, by themselves, give traders ownership of the underlying stocks, currencies or other assets.
Separately, Injective said its affiliate, Injective Institutional Services, became registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a transfer agent, effective Aug. 19. Transfer agents maintain securities ownership records and process transfers.
Injective said its Injective Mint assets are not automatically securities or automatically compliant with every applicable requirement.
