Claims are forecast at 200,000, compared with 197,000 the previous week.
Initial jobless claims and September Producer Price Index data are scheduled for release Thursday, Oct. 15, at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC). The reports put a weekly labor-market measure and a producer-price reading on the same morning schedule.
Claims are forecast at 200,000, compared with 197,000 the previous week. Initial claims count people filing for unemployment insurance for the first time. September PPI measures prices received by domestic producers.
The releases are included in Thursday’s economic calendar.
