Bitcoin (BTC) Transfer Leads $308.4 Million in Three-Hour Crypto Moves
The three transfers through 8 a.m. ET Oct. 15 included $51.4 million sent off exchanges and $24.1 million sent onto them.

Three large crypto transfers totaled $308.4 million in the three hours through 8 a.m. ET (12:00 UTC) Oct. 15, while exchange outflows exceeded inflows.
The largest move was 2,878 Bitcoin (BTC) worth $232.9 million, transferred at 6:51 a.m. ET (10:51 UTC) between two unknown wallets. It was not included in exchange inflow and outflow totals.
The two exchange-linked transfers went in opposite directions. At 7:06 a.m. ET (11:06 UTC), 634 BTC worth $51.4 million moved from Coinbase Institutional to an unknown wallet. At 7:54 a.m. ET (11:54 UTC), 300 million Dogecoin (DOGE) worth $24.1 million moved from an unknown wallet to Binance.
The $308.4 million total combines the wallet-to-wallet BTC transfer with the two exchange-linked transactions. The exchange-linked outflow was $51.4 million, compared with $24.1 million in inflows. Transfers to exchanges are sometimes monitored as possible selling activity, while withdrawals may be watched as potential holding. Transfer direction alone does not establish what wallet owners intend to do.
