Bitcoin (BTC), the largest crypto asset by market capitalization, fell 1.04% in the hour ending 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC) Oct. 15, as $22.28 million in long positions were liquidated across three exchanges.

The one-hour tally covers Binance, Bybit and OKX. The combined liquidation total was $22.94 million: $22.28 million in long positions and $660,000 in short positions. Long liquidations exceeded short liquidations by $21.62 million, making the reported breakdown heavily weighted toward long positions.

Bitcoin's price moved from $80,706 at the beginning of the period to $79,869 at the end, a decline of $837. The 1.04% drop covers that same price move. The price levels and liquidation amounts describe the same one-hour interval, ending at 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC).

The total is limited to public data collected from those three exchanges, so it is not a marketwide liquidation figure. The split between long and short positions is also confined to that exchange sample. The figures provide a one-hour snapshot rather than a longer-period total.
