Mar Vista Opens StandardAero Position, Exits Remaining Oracle Position
U.S. Quality Premier returned 1.74% net of fees in the third quarter of 2026, below the Russell 1000 and the S&P 500.

Mar Vista Investment Partners’ U.S. Quality Premier strategy opened a position in StandardAero Inc. (SARO) and exited its remaining Oracle (ORCL) position in the third quarter, returning less than two broad U.S. equity benchmarks.
For the quarter ended Sept. 30, the strategy returned 1.74% net of fees. The Russell 1000 gained 1.79%, while the S&P 500 rose 2.30%. U.S. Quality Premier trailed the Russell 1000 by 0.05 percentage point and the S&P 500 by 0.56 percentage point.
Mar Vista’s rationale for exiting Oracle was that a sharp rise in the stock’s price had narrowed the holding’s margin of safety and reduced its prospective return. Its StandardAero investment case centered on demand for aircraft-engine maintenance, including newer LEAP programs and continued servicing of CFM56 engines. The case also included potential margin gains as newer programs mature and the Component Repair Services business expands.
The strategy typically allocates about 60% of its portfolio to its top 10 holdings.
The positions reflect an account Mar Vista considers representative of the strategy for June 30 through Sept. 30. Other client accounts may hold different securities.
