A direct collection of Binance spot ZEC/USDT prices showed Zcash (ZEC) at $1,181 at noon ET (16:00 UTC) Oct. 15, up 8.22% in four hours from $1,091. ZEC also showed a 3.14% gain over 24 hours at the same snapshot.

A separate one-hour tally of Zcash liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX came to $1.82 million. Short positions accounted for $1.79 million of that amount, compared with $30,000 in long liquidations. The tally covers the three exchanges named and the hour aligned with the price snapshot; the four-hour price change uses a longer measurement window.

Zcash ranked 10th by market capitalization, at approximately $19.81165 billion. At the reported time, the four-hour price change was 5.08 percentage points greater than the asset’s reported 24-hour change. The snapshot is tied to a specific hour on Binance’s spot ZEC/USDT market, while the liquidation figures combine three venues, providing two different views of activity around the move.
