XRP Weekly Chart Puts $1.19 Breakout Level Back in Focus
XRP crossed above the descending channel’s upper trendline at $1.3870 in August 2026; the line now sits near $1.1917.

XRP is approaching a former weekly-channel breakout line near $1.1917, below the $1.3870 level where it cleared resistance in August; a test of that line could show whether the breakout holds.
The token was down nearly 14.5% over the past week and was testing the $1.30 area. Selling intensified after U.S. consumer price data came in hotter than expected this week.
The descending channel took shape after XRP reached an all-time high of $3.66 in July 2025. Later rebounds formed lower peaks, with the upper trendline turning XRP back near $3.05 in October 2025 and $2.41 in January 2026.
XRP crossed above that line at $1.3870 during an August 2026 rally and rose to $1.70 before turning lower. In September, the correction brought it to $1.25, near the channel line. XRP then recovered to a late-month high of $1.65.
The current trendline sits near $1.1917. A move below it would put the August breakout under pressure, with the August 2026 low near $0.98 as the next chart reference. If XRP also falls below $0.98, the lower Bollinger Band at $0.8941 could be another area of support.
A previous hourly-channel analysis put a possible XRP floor at $1.25. That setup tracked a shorter timeframe; the weekly chart’s current trendline is lower.
