Bitcoin’s $82,000 Rebound Faces Resistance at Its 20-Day EMA
BTC’s 14-day RSI stood at 49.41, while the price remained below its $82,905 20-day EMA.

Bitcoin (BTC) traded near $82,347 on Oct. 15, up 0.95% on the session after recovering from an intraday low of $79,694. It reached $82,537 during the session but remained below the 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) at $82,905, leaving a short-term technical test unresolved.
The $82,281 level was identified as support after the price moved back above it. BTC’s 14-day relative strength index (RSI) stood at 49.41, just below the 50 midpoint. Together, the readings place the price between a nearby support marker and an overhead resistance level without confirming a renewed direction.
BTC remained below the $82,905 20-day EMA after moving above the $82,281 support level. On Oct. 15, BTC stood above its $80,340 50-day EMA and below its $82,905 20-day EMA.
Weekly chart readings were constructive: BTC was above the Supertrend indicator and the 50-week EMA, while both MACD lines were above zero. Those readings cover a longer timeframe than the daily RSI and 20-day EMA, so they do not settle the immediate test around $82,281 support and $82,905 resistance.
