Tesla Shares Rise More Than 4.5% Premarket as SpaceX Gains About 2.5%

The Roadster used cold-gas thrusters developed with SpaceX. Roadster production is set to begin in 2028.

A Roadster presentation featured a brief airborne maneuver Friday, alongside gains for Tesla and SpaceX: Tesla rose more than 4.5% in premarket trading, and SpaceX gained about 2.5%.

Tesla was at $378.3, while SpaceX was at $152.3. The Roadster briefly left the ground and rolled in the air during the presentation. It used cold-gas thrusters developed in collaboration with SpaceX.

Roadster production is set to begin in 2028.
